Pet Shop Boys usually sent christmas card to the members of official fan club. For the 1997 they sent a CD instead of a card. CD contained otherwise unavailable song "It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas" and its instrumental version. On November 2005 song was released on Elton John's Christmas Party CD. On 2009 song was re-released in new production by Marius de Vries on "Christmas" EP.

At the date of first relase there were no promotional video. With "Christmas" EP release poped up live "It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas" video recorded live at the 02 in London on 21st December 2009.
